What have I learned!

It is quite hard to put everything I have learned to this one single blog post. The topic of Internet was overwhelming and full of surprises where I still feel like there are so much thing to be discovered. Just like an ocean how scientist believe that we are not even near close for discovering 1/3 of the ocean. That is why although it was quite painful studying for the test I was amazed at what humans have made. Topic covering Future of Internet really inspired me in so many ways. Really taught me that there are so much more that has to be done and it makes me excited about what is there to come. 

Starting from how everyone would be able to the Internet soon and how people would be creating Internet nation. Although some predictions sound like a fictional story who would be confident enough to say that it is impossible. To put it into another perspective who would have imagined for us to develop this much? Humans have been moving along relentlessly and there are still so much to come. Even looking at the virtual reality we are creating the impossible. The Internet really shows the footsteps of our history and it will never stop.

How does Google make money!!!???

To think about it, we have always used Google search engine for free and I never remember myself giving money to Google. Then it makes me wonder how Google became such a powerful rich company. Firstly, Google has a revenue of over 75 billion dollars and makes a profit of 23 billion dollars. Google, however, also makes a majority of the money from advertisements and that percentage reaches up to 90 percent. I will now introduce you to some ways how Google persuades companies to choose them for their advertisement.

As we all know Google is the most well-known and largest search engine providing massive amounts of information for the users. Thinking about how million of people are using the Google daily it is obviously an appealing place for companies to advertise their company. Two main ways Google provided advertisement method would be Google Adwords and Google Adsense. Firstly, Google Adwords is the most used advertisement method from the companies as Google help companies put their advertisement to the specific group of people. This makes the advertisement become a lot more effective and this method makes Google look a lot more appealing to the companies. The second method would be Google's Adsense, which uploads advertisements to the website. However, they do not stop at this they also provide user information the companies such as the searching habits. As there are around one billion things getting searched a day, which makes Google powerful.

With the amount of information, Google has they would be able to make billions of dollars!!!!

Internet of Things!

How fast our technology is developing is quite amazing and also people are never satisfied with what we have. People are trying to connect everything to the Internet just like how it is for smartphones and computers. In other words, even our washing machine, earphones just anything we could possibly imagine could be functioned by the internet. Just like how I have talked about with "Future of Internet" the idea of where the Internet is taking us has no boundaries. 

As I was researching about this topic deeper I realized that IOT is actually something very active and there are already so many developments that came from IOT. For example, there was this product called Nestcam where we could attach a camera at home and see live what is going on in the house. This camera is connected to the mobile and also the wifi system. This is also called the machine to machine system and this would be an example of the IOT. Another example would be Portable Voice Controlled Speaker, which is a Bluetooth speaker and it is possible for us to carry it around anywhere. 

Just like these technologies, our life is getting more smarter and easier!
